The above bar chart dearly reveals the daily leisure activities of old people in a certain community. Let"s look at the diagram in details. To begin with, the percentage of watching TV ranks first, which is 90.8%. This followed by taking a walk, planting flowers and reading books with 68.3%, 34.7% and 31.8% respectively. It is obvious that the percentage of playing the chess makes up the smallest ratio in five categories, accounting for 18.4%. with the acceleration of economy and society, old people in mounting numbers are likely to stay at home and watch TV. What triggers the trend? My reasons are as follows. The company of children, in the first place, could account for this trend because old people lack of the children"s company. In addition, another major determinant is their own health. To be specific, their health became very fragile, so more and more old people are prefer to stay at home and watch TV. Despite the above mentioned factors, another cause is the community lack of exercise facilities.

Based on the above trend, I have following suggestions. To lead with, their children should often come home to be with their parents. To add that, the community shouldestablish more extercise facilities for the old people.
