This means that you are supposed to come and become a teacher of the school. Finally, international volunteer teachers should speak both English and Chinese well so as to teach the students bilingually.

This caricature graphically illustrates an astonishing contrast between two men’s reaction toward mountain climbing. Sitting on the step, one man says sorrowfully:”I’ve been too exhausted to move on”. On the contrary, the other one, with a smile on his face, is passing his desperate partner a bottle of mineral water and encourages him:”Come on! Let’s just take a break and resume climbing!” Right below this vivid cartoon writes a phrase—On the way to the top.

The painting aims at informing us of the significance of persistence and no one can deny it. Persistence can help us carve out a way to success. Although the way to success is bumpy and filled with inevitable setbacks, it is keeping holding on that leads us to the destination we are eager to reach. A classic case in point is that Thomas Edison, one of the greatest inventors throughout the history of mankind, experienced numerous unsuccessful attempts, and eventually invented the first electric lamp.

Accordingly, at no time should we neglect the significance of perseverance. When coming across hardships, we need to grit our teeth and adhere to the faith that our efforts and persistence will be bound to get paid off. Merely by doing so are we able to achieve a successful life.
