I am exceedingly grateful to recall the past days when you gave me a lot of instruction for my preparation for the English contest .You always gave me a hand when I was helpless and passive for the preparation.It ’s your tremendous and generous assistance that directed me to progress and grow. 有问题吗

同学你好，instruction后面的for 应该改为in 。另外direct用词不当，可直接替换为contributed to my process and growth
